I don't make any pretense about getting muddy. And I don't think I'm Buddha, either. I strive to be a better person than my baser instincts, and I do sometimes fail. One look at my recovery thread, for instance, will show anyone a huge, glaring flaw I have.

But in this case, I'm content to engage you on what are apparently your preferred terms, because I've seen no indication you have much capability for high-mindedness.

The difference is that I do try, and often succeed. I'd like to see you disagree with someone with resorting to insult, but I'm not holding my breath.

Perhaps you could make a thread "The united league of butthurt" where you all can make up shit about the staff to avoid personal responsability. Honestly it would be fun to watch how many excuses can you find for others to be blamed by your own faults. Perhaps you can trade recipes of ointment for the obvious butthurt.

The same is true for both of them. They could have easily stopped arguing with me back when I explained they were mad about statements I didn't make. In m.h.'s defense, he stopped long ago, and that's pretty rad. I don't stop responding simply because, at this point in the evolution of this nonsense, I find it entertaining. While I work, I chat online or read things during my down time. This thread is filling some of my down time at the moment. Also, when I asked Tibs to split the thread way back when this fight was picked with me, he said they only do that if it gets really out of hand for pages and pages. I figure, why not clean up the thread and give the second half some stupid-ass title like "When people get really upset about Benadryl."

Splitting a thread isn't entirely necessary and just creates a ton of work for the person tasked with such a responsibility. I say, breathe, be okay with this stuff being put behind everyone and let's focus on Rhonda's well-being.

Splitting a thread isn't a ton of work at all. I used to do it all the time when shit like this happened. Also, both Thump and Thena have said they were leaving and didn't. People can agree all they want, but it won't happen until it naturally dies. Split it and get it over with. It's procedure and should have been done ages ago.

I don't need to breathe. Back and forths like this rarely actually phase me. I don't think they're as big of a deal as people make them out to be. If I'm being sensitive and ridiculous, which we can all be sometimes, it might piss me off for an hour or two, but that ship has long-since sailed in here. We're strangers. None of this really matters. It's just something we do to pass the time.

I think Rhonda is fine. She is asking interesting stuff about physics in another thread. I am thinking of a cinematic way to explain to her the higgs boson. Thinking about it, ain't easy.

What if you were accused unfairly by a couple of members? How would you react? How would you react?

I know some times I went out of line. You know what I am talking about, but pride is meant to be swallowed and take apologies when in the wrong.

Until then, i will just be amused for how far can they row that boat.

Specially when 99% of the staff actions are met with indignant defense. It ain't easy.

It is a common happening, long before this episode. I believe this to be born out of ignorance of how we work, the consideration we take and all our best attempts to remain impartial.

To remain shut up when a member or a couple attack our action as taking sides, repeatedly claimed, about a discussion on whatever, is not only foolish, but a sign of what they truly are.

I reckon that my consideration from both of the prideful, is zero, but yeah. Can't fight them trying to stand tall.
