Example?

You know, crazy shit like saying an apparent light flare in a photograph might have a perfectly mundane explanation involving light rather than the obviously sensible explanation that the power of the Holy Spirit was captured on film.

Dis you not just draw the conclusion that Branham was a stage hypnotist a few pages back? Don't know how you got that based off an audio recording...

Sigh, why do you guys insist on ONLY focusing on ONE piece of evidence?

I not only submitted a picture, I also submitted eye witness testimony AND audio recordings. If you want to explain away the light in the picture as just a 'flare', how do you explain the audio recording stating a "light" was present and testimony of someone stating they seen the light with their own eyes?

I responded to those comments, and as of now still waiting for your response.  Also, would you mind answering the question I asked you about Carl Sagan?

The Bible is not 'the claim' for the simple reason that it is not one thing. To be accurate, it is claims (plural). And if it is really claims, then your statement make no point whatsoever.

What impeaching evidence do you offer?

Conversations work better when you explain your reasoning. Otherwise I can't tell you where you went wrong.  Smile

The "Bible" is a book that claims to represent an existent god's Word. If that claim is false then pretty much all of christianity is false. Of course there are sub claims but those don't matter.

As we know that huge swaths of the bible story is childish non-sense, such as the tower of Babel and Noah's Ark, we know that the claim is impeached by the physical evidence. Furthermore the adherents to the claim push over each other to proclaim the closeness of a "Personal relationship", but when examined, they inevitably are just a dishonest stalkers of a self made idea of a god, no closer to a actual personal relationship than Min is to Ivanka Trump.

What good is a god that you can't talk to and who won't really talk to you in the same way as god did in his bible stories?  Why doesn't god talk to you in  the same way he did to the authors of the books? Why doesn't your church save the bones of their true christians TM in order to touch the dead with them and bring dead children back to life? Why was all of your imaginary god's magic only displayable before the age of science and cameras?

Have you ever petted a cockatrice or a Satyr? They were real according to your bible, so where is your satyr bones to show us as evidence?

We know that our thoughts do not originate in our kidneys now. (jesus didn't) We know how the brain works and we know that the idea of a soul is silly. We also know that killing a goat and spreading it's blood around is completely ignorant and disgusting, but your bible fans hasn't figured that out yet. We also know that forcing a young virgin girl to be married and violated by a enemy soldier that killed her family is the height of evil and wrong, no matter whose retarded idea it was. Furthermore we know that eating a special knowledge fruit off a magic tree spurred on by a talking snake so that we would have the knowledge of right and wrong equal to god's is a silly notion held by silly people.

No... but if your theory is that a number of people across a geographical diverse area conspired to make it look like they are past historical events, when they are not.  I call that a conspiracy theory.

It's not a problem if you have evidence to support your theory, however I would ask to see it.  Until then, I remain skeptical.

Also known as: people who are paid to copy documents do so.  Is this what counts as a conspiracy to batshit christers?

Here you are, pretending to be in possession of "history" - are you engaged in the "conspiracy" as well? I certainly don't think so, I think you're too dense to properly conspire in the first place. Most christians throughout all time would have been similarly dense. They were doing, for the most part..what you're doing now. Repeating what you've been told.

A testament to the success of christian propaganda and revisionism is that they no longer have to pay people to reproduce or peddle it. You'll volunteer.

1. Nope our evidence .The only evidence is that these things exist are common knowledge and need no further justification and could in any probability caused the things your presenting . Your only evidence is asserting arguments from ignorance or magic .

2. We have debunked all your non evidence not just one piece .

Give it up huggie your grasping at straws .

1.That's not conspiracy theory road. that's how fucking  ancient documents were copied idiot . Glad to see your ignorance of history is just a profound as expected .

2. You couldn't not be skeptical if we replaced your brain with Hitchens .

3. Plenty of evidence has been presented you just stick your fingers in your ears and scream CONSPIRACY .It's a chant of denialism and nothing more.

4. You clearly can't identify conspiracy theory is then . No surprise there.

Well, I think we need to give them a pass on the special pleading thing, otherwise they won't have a jot or tittle to base their religion on, and then, deprived of purpose, we will have to shut down Atheist Forums.
