Good person/bad person

RE: Good person/bad person
Going serious for a moment,

survivors guilt exists when a person knows they have done something grossly wrong by surviving a traumatic event when others didn't, so it is inherent to myself that I'm bad
The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.

I'd say it's very rare to find people who know what they're doing is bad and wrong and choose to do it anyway.

I like that you always answer lol. A lot of people just get so technical...

I consider myself good even though my favorite food is barbecued baby and I ensure that a kitten is daily killed when I masturbate.

I'm sorry.

Yeah Losty's responses to friends threads are always top quality.

@ Kernel

You say some people think you're a great guy but some people consider you the bane of their existence... I can only imagine that those people are total assholes.

EDIT: Losty's response to friends are also top quality but I meant to type "threads" Tongue

But does that make you a good survivor or a bad survivor? Thinking

Why or why not?

This is an interesting question.  There are certainly some people who think I'm the bane of existence while others think that I'm a great guy.  Thus, taking these perspectives into account and trying to synthesize them with how I see myself, I'd say that I probably fall into neither extreme and am probably somewhere in the middle.  How about you, Catholic Lady?

I think i am overall a good person. I think the average person is overall good, so I'm just average, but good nonetheless.

It doesn't mean I never do anything wrong. Im sure there are things every single day that I could do better.

Bah! If pushed I'm definitely gonna vote yes. Okay I got the stick out of my butthole, CL. Consider me a voter in your poll Tongue

I will point out, however, that I am sure all the really bad people would vote "Yes" Tongue

In fact I think a good person is more likely to think they're a bad person than a bad person is. Bad people are often very arrogant and self-righteous. Even when they know they're bad they at least try to tell everyone else that they're not so bad at all. But good people often feel guilty over even the smallest things... you see? Smile

By that loose arbitrary standard, we're all good.
Everything we do is for the good of something.
Be it our fragile egos, revenge, ultruism, our God, etc.

Please be more specific. Eg, we're the crusades good? I bet they were. Big Grin
They were good for someone anyway...

I would agree with that.
