Would you get rid of your sexual desire if you could?

I'd like that knob turned all the way down, too (as I plan for a crab roll, kettle chips and a whoopie pie for dessert from the farmer's market).).

I'd probably get more sex if that could be achieved.

I wouldn't.

Hmm I saw a video a few weeks ago.
In that video he took sexual desire and lust as two different things.(he explained the 7 capital sins psychologicaly)
He sayed that sexual desire is a mechanism that makes you want to have sex with the purpouse of reproducing .( a safety to ensure perpetuation).
Lust on the other hand isn't really related to sex itself, it is a mix of negative feelings(+ not beeing able to get the satisfaction I desired from sex in my case ) .Anyway , a nasty slut that you don't want to take to a tango.
So the thing you want to turn off is lust not sexual desire (maybe).

Um......wut? Lust is negative feelings? Could you please expand on this?

If you google "lust" one of the synonyms is "sexual desire".
Being told you're delusional does not necessarily mean you're mental.

What ? That guy just explains the psychology behind the sins , it has nothing to do with religion .

No, he gives his/the religions opinion on why he thinks lust is a sin. They are incorrect. Sex, sexual desire, lust, in an of itself, is not a sin.

Before you turn off your lust, could you turn on your spell checker? :-)

And also please stop telling people how they feel, if you'd be so kind?
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'
