I'll Give You a Pass Because...

Despite our intellectual differences many of us have odd commonalities because of shared personal experiences. The title comes from another thread in which I "gave a pass" to Khem because of our shared experiences with hog farming and M.Brewer Crossless "gave a pass" to me for being an Iowa Hawkeyes fan. So to whom do you give a pass and why? (try to be obscure or just make something up if you want, Let's have some fun.)

I give my friend J a pass for being a Christian because he's a member of the Metropolitan Community Church (an affirming denomination for LGBTQs) and the mere existence of the MCC drives so many of the other Christian schisms, denoms, branches, spinoffs, splits, and knock offs bat shit crazy.
The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.

To the members of the Korean Central Church of Baton Rouge (which I occasionally attend for my wife's sake), I give you a collective pass because many of you patiently help me fumble through my kindergarten-level Korean and correct my mistakes and because your after-service meals fucking rock.
