Out of bacon?!
You should get a sponge for the drywall mud, so that you don't inhale mass quantities of the dust. Best thing ever invented for drywall work. I got rid of my pole sander when I found out about those sponges! Up close and personal is OK, if that crap is wet.

But the main thing is the employment it provides. They could just as easily (so could Oregon, if they just thought it through) require that every station maintain a full serve island with the requisite "petroleum transfer engineers" still employed, charge a small premium for the service and provide a better benefit to their economy. It doesn't have to be an either/or choice.

I've used sponges, and in some cases a dampened washcloth, for finishing drywall. A long time ago I had a particularly ingenious contraption, a sanding block with a vacuum hose that used a pail of water halfway to the vacuum as a dust trap. Most of the time, though, I try to avoid sanding altogether by building up super-thin layers of finish mud.
Today's job was just a quick touch-up sanding of a couple of low spots where I had had to add a bit more mud before painting. I do have a major drywall job coming up in the next couple of months, though, so I'll be getting a fresh drywall sponge for finishing that.

First time I drove through Jersey I was so confused. At first I thought I had done something wrong for an employee to run over to me like that. Pump my gas? I have hands and a brain, I can do it just fine.

Just sitting around like a sad little sack of nothing with this mean headache. I crave sleep and soft fluffy things.

Looking at the Facts. Fans FB, where saomeone posted about "sweet heat" Skittles and Starburst. I had never heard of these, but they sound along the same line as something Liversavers put out in the late 80's, that might have been called "Therm-O-Mints" or something like that. I've very curious!

Crying again today but not as much as yesterday.
Who knew that treating breast cancer would be the easy part - surviving after turns out to be what's giving me anxiety.

What are you allowed to do and what would you like to do while you recuperate? Are there any ways you can reward/compensate yourself for all you've done for your survival so that there can be more joy right now?
