Super Continent

RE: Super Continent
A well managed culture of anti-intellectualism subverting one of the few things americana that can be called a qualified success.

"Something something something..until it has already been destroyed from within"  Wink
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

We might lose Southeast Asia in time too, leaving just open ocean between Asia and Australia. Southeast Greenland kind of has the same angle as Northwestern Europe. How about that?

Actually, the bulk of Africa is moving north, and will slam into the turkey, the bulkans, Italy and southern France in about 20 million years.  When that happens the Alps will compete with the Himalayas for being the most awesome mountain range on earth.

A long thin slice of east Africa is in the process of parting company with the rest of Africa.  The same underlying force driving the departure will also push the bulk of Africa slightly to the west.  But rest assured it won't Be nearly enough to miss Europe.

Australia is also moving north, and will probably plow up the archipelagos of Southeast Asia on its way to collision with Vietnam and east China.

Greenland is actually riding on the same plate as North America.  So Greenland is flying in formation with North America and moving away from Europe as the Atlantic continues to widen.

That's interesting. Everything changes in one way or another. Even slowly.

I did experiment with veganism. I tried to make a completely vegan meal once.

But there just wasn't enough meat on those kids.
