Fuck Donald Trump. Fuck all of his supporters. Fuck them all. This is plain and simple bullshit, allowing medical personnel to discriminate on the basis of seuxal orientation. Fuck the religious people who are okay with this. Fuck them all. Fuck them with fifty rusty razor blades.
This is absolutely disgusting. Allowing health providers to discriminate against people on the basis of religious bullshit is the most disgusting thing to come out of this already disgusting administration. I wonder how the Christians would feel if they allowed people to refuse to provide medical care to Christians. I mean after all they have prayer. That should be enough.

"Critics say <action> could/might lead to <consequence> " is always a tricky news story, because the critics want to paint it in as bad as light as possible. Just like you can't listen to the proponents, because they want to make it sound as innocent as possible.
Again, this is where having a news organization that does the leg work, rather than just presenting us with the two partisan takes and letting us guess what it means would be amazing for society.
I'd be very surprised if "Dentist refuses to clean homosexual teeth" is either the intention or allowable.

Yeah, what other aim could this have other than allowing medical professionals to refuse service to specific individuals? They'll be in hot water when an emergency room doctor tries this shit on a dying patient.

From what I understand, the intention of this is to not force doctors to perform procedures they have a moral objection to, such as abortion. I highly doubt this will turn into doctors legitimately being allowed to refuse to treat a patient based on the patient's orientation/faith/politics..
