Take Richard Dawkins, please.  What a vile, angry man, or should I say socialist.  Even some of his atheist peers have stated
that Dawkins makes them embarrassed to be an atheist.

We should really run a sweepstakes on who starman is a sock of. I'm calling dibs on Randy Carson, the combination of unreasoning anger and incoherence seem just about right.

Personally I strongly doubt that it's Randy. In my opinion he was one of the better theists to pass through this site. I just doubt that he's ever socked; I think he would just gracefully accept his ban and move on. Obviously that's just my opinion but nonetheless those are my two cents.

Dakwins is a bit of a stuffed shirt. But he is hardly "vile". I have met him personally, and I would not want to hang out with him at a bar, he is more of a library type. But yea I agree, if you are denying evolution, sorry, no polite way to put it, you are AN IDIOT.

Evolution is proven fact and DNA backs up evolution. Don't like that? TOUGH SHIT.

I love reading and listening to Dawkins. Especially when he is angry and condescending.

What's wrong with being  a socialist?
Also, I quite like Dawkins. Not all, but a lot of his speeches I saw on youtube were eloquent enough and enjoyable. He was one of the major voices to make me see not only that my beliefs were wrong, but also that it was okay to accept them as wrong. His 'the god delusion' is on my shelf and he's very good at what he does best: biology. (Which is one of my favorite subjects.) Do I agree 100% with everything he says, on anything? Nah.
But I do agree with the sentiment of that statement: either you don't understand evolution or you believe in evolution.

I find it interesting that you use the word 'vile' to describe Dawkins, when you are a member of a religion with a holy book with the following doctrine and dogma:

A god that condones slavery.

A god that ordered the Hebrews to slaughter entire towns and keep the virgins for themselves as spoils.

Has a bear kill 42 children for making fun of a bald man.

Needs a blood sacrifice in order to act as a loophole for rules he created, in order to keep his creation out of hell, which he also created.

A god that punishes nonbelievers for eternity, for finite crimes, with perfect foreknowledge that billions of his creation are destined to hell, because of his rules.

That is infinitely more vile than anything Dawkins could possibly do.

One of the most vile universe I can conceive of, is one where Yahweh/Jesus actually exist.

You'd believe if you just opened your heart" is a terrible argument for religion. It's basically saying, "If you bias yourself enough, you can convince yourself that this is true." If religion were true, people wouldn't need faith to believe it -- it would be supported by good evidence.

Stephen Fry comes to mind as a man with a pretty good command of the English language. Case in point, the interview where he is asked what he would say if he met god.

Yeah this isn't Randy's style
"Of course, everyone will claim they respect someone who tries to speak the truth, but in reality, this is a rare quality. Most respect those who speak truths they agree with, and their respect for the speaking only extends as far as their realm of personal agreement. It is less common, almost to the point of becoming a saintly virtue, that someone truly respects and loves the truth seeker, even when their conclusions differ wildly."

Angry? Occasionally.

Condescending? Frequently. But often, what some see as condescension, others will recognise as wit.

And, once again you've displayed your hypocrisy, since you've done nothing but lie and name call since you've come here.

Perhaps you should practice what your imaginary friend supposedly preached: humility.

"You did WHAT?  With WHO?  WHERE???"

Randy socked at least once as this guy: https://atheistforums.org/user-8946.html

But yeah, Randy would have taken a higher road.
