The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.

I thought the refit Enterprise from the motion picture the most pleasing ship ever to appear in the Star trek universe.  It had subtle enough detail to suggest an engineering construct, and the effects of lighting and marking makes it believable at first glance as part of an organized and established traffic. It's shape suggest it could be an elite cutting edge ship for its environment.   It was a pleasing departure from the nonsensical pile of greebles approach to spaceship design that was popular with other sci-fi spacemovies like star wars.

To be honest, the more Star trek dragged on, the more the ships on it appears like props that favored form over function catering to those with cliched taste in form.

Lifeforce.

I saw that years ago.

He was also in a British Shakespearean group in the 70s/80s.  Another member of the group got a role in a certain TV show about a time travelling doctor, as a companion (I can't remember her name).  When she proudly announced it, Patrick Stewart told her, "there's no future in science fiction."

She apparently reminds him of that whenever they meet...

It's a great double feature with "Lair of the White Worm". (Proving once again that bagpipes are evil.)

Where does the cargo go? I've seen plans. You might smuggle thionite in it, but nothing bulky.

The cargo goes in a cargo container that is detachable.

[disturbing footage lies ahead]

One really good episode in particular is "The Balance Of Terror "

I loved the Romulan commander's introduction "Spock, I didn't kill your father. I am your father".

Why not?  A mississippi cargo barge pusher in space that can do the kessel run in 12 parsecs.

And they'd still call it a "tow".

You know why the tow boat was always at the rear?
