After some 2 months of snow and rain and clod "forcing" me to drive to work, yesterday the sun shone and I took the bike.... today too.
Now my legs hurt. I felt way too tired all the way. and had to use lower gears to make some ascents... I need to get back in shape!

Heading out for a jog. 1.5 miles to the park, a little jog around the park, then 1.5 miles back to the apartment.

I'm going for a long walk into town and back. Despite the fact I eat crap and I don't get any exercise besides walking I at least 1. Don't even have a car. 2. Don't use the bus. 3. Have to take a 40 minute walk anytime I want to go to town for some shopping.

So, it's swings and roundabouts*

*fuck I love saying that. It's so fun.

Ever consider getting a bicycle, Hammy? That 40 minute walk will be cut to about 13 minutes each way, and bicycling is good exercise.

And you can find decent ones, second hand, for something like £50.
Try a local bike shop, or gumtree, or ebay. Wink

Lots of healthy choices getting made here. I've had my oatmeal with mango, banana, strawberries and walnuts. Getting ready to head to the Y for some stationary bike and weights. On the way home I'll get a scone and coffee, which I will eat very mindfully. =)

Awesome! It's good for you! I always feel more confident after strength training. Something about knowing you're actually making your proportions a little better.

I couldn't ride a bike if my life depended on it.

(I tried as a kid. Then again I'm a little odd. I could never drive a car either).
