Do you think pornography generally has harmful effects on women in our society?
Curious to know people's opinions.
"Of course, everyone will claim they respect someone who tries to speak the truth, but in reality, this is a rare quality. Most respect those who speak truths they agree with, and their respect for the speaking only extends as far as their realm of personal agreement. It is less common, almost to the point of becoming a saintly virtue, that someone truly respects and loves the truth seeker, even when their conclusions differ wildly."

Depends on what you mean by fear I guess. I think it is unhealthy for society and detrimental to women, so in that sense yes I suppose.

I generally watch animated porn so I don't have to ask myself if this is truly voluntary. I think being a bit more liberated when it comes to sex would be good for us, as long as it's safe, sane, and consensual.

Women's rights is pushing for better treatment of women. But porn is pushing pretty hard core objectification.
It's interesting both things seem to be trending in the same direction when they are at odds with each other.

No. Maybe in 1980. But now most porn is done and controlled by women cause of the internet.

Porn is just sex on camera. To say that it objectifies women is to say sex objectifies women. I don't care if it's bondage or whatever. That's just fun sex on camera.
Being anti porn is totally silly and childish.
