Oz is still on water restrictions and Perth Western Australia is a place where the rain falls to the South of it in bucket loads but where the majority of people live rainfall is very low (humidity is around 20% Generally speaking) and the heat very high. Lawn areas are really discouraged in the push to be 'Water Wise' http://www.watercorporation.com.au/

Save food stuff for the 'Backyard' and 'Courtyard' areas.
