Shouldn't be too hard to do. Just setup a new subforum with its own usergroup. Kind of like Mafia really. People need to be added to the usergroup to post there. And they get removed if they break the rules according to Poca.

Poca can't mod it by himself. Firstly, I'm pretty sure he was being sarcastic. Secondly, he's not on the staff. If there were to be a civility subforum, which I'm really starting to think we need to vote on sooner rather than later, it would be modded by the staff in general, as is the entire forum.

We talked about it via slack. He was being totally serious lol.

Most respect those who speak truths they agree with, and their respect for the speaking only extends as far as their realm of personal agreement. It is less common, almost to the point of becoming a saintly virtue, that someone truly respects and loves the truth seeker, even when their conclusions differ wildly."

How do Mafia mods get modding capabilites without being Staff members then?

Just in case she still doubts it: I'll happily mod it and I'm not being sarcastic.

Staff have decided at this time not to go forward with a trial of this.

To be clear. It was deliberated over quite a bit. It wasn’t just dismissed. While the idea has some merit, implementation and use as intended would be logistically difficult, as evidenced by the way it was received by both the for and against parties. Sorry, guys.

Well, that would still be quite silly. Why would we have an entire section modded by a single non-staff member. It’s not even technically possible.

I understand. Thanks for taking it into consideration!

I was personally fine with doing a trial run, but unfortunately I’m a stickler for democracy.
