Ok so today they were supposed to finish the plumbing and electric, did they? NO! 

And with Memorial weekend coming up I doubt they will get to finishing it till next week.

And one thing I noticed, no hot water heater yet. I am pissed that I didn't notice that at signing. 

If it comes with a fridge, and stove, and dishwasher, why the fuck would it not come with a hot water heater?

On US Navy ships with 600 PSI steam plants, the boilers run at 480+ degrees Fahrenheit for superheated steam as an efficiency measure. Maybe Bryan is going to get his good ship under way.

Yup. I was a Machinist's Mate. I hear tell that the MM rating had the BT rating folded into it (long after I got out- '76), so one could go to MM "A" school and actually end up a Boiler Tech. That's probably the worst job in the Navy, IMO...until the turd chasers (HTs) actually had to tend to sanitary facilities, instead of ships just blowing the shit over the side, in port.

I started out as an EN,  you can guess where I went with that rating. Crossdecked to MM in 1975. The pit snipes were separate ratings when I retired in 1989. Last ship I was on, Peleliu had MMs (A-gang) running the sewage treatment plants. YMMV

I never thought of that but yea. It should be just "water heater". No need to heat it if it is already hot.
