The Babe died of throat cancer, btw.

Remember this one?

I wish! I'm one of those people who cannot tell a lie with a straight face. You should see some of the other crap. She bought a doll bed that is broken. I was forbidden to fix it because it would lose value. Huh
If you get to thinking you’re a person of some influence, try ordering somebody else’s dog around.

It isn't really all that difficult.

In the 80's my son was down at a friends house and called to say that he had been invited to stay for dinner and was it okay.  Of course we said yes... anything to get him out of the house for a while.

So he came home a couple of hours later and proceeded to tell us about the "cool phone" in Jeremy's house.  He said, it hung on the wall just like ours but instead of buttons it had this big circle thing that you put your finger in and moved.

[snipped]

BTW, the avocado green color?  Pure 1970's.

I found one left by the previous owners in our house in Germany. It was avocado green as well. I plugged it in and it was noisy as fuck. Just caused so much static.

Everyone knows that. It's where all your games are stored on Steam!

How about having a car you could fix with a screwdriver, a hammer, a crescent wrench and some colorful language?

^ In the not too distant future, kids will be able to custom order their cars online. They'll get 3D printed overnight and auto drive themselves to the person's house in the morning.
