It isn't. That's the point. But there seems to exist a long-standing, fairy universal convention of replacing letters in offensive words with asterisks in order to make them somehow acceptable in print. Otherwise - why would my spelling make a difference, in case mum read my posts?

What Samantha Bee said was vile and sexist...and I really don't believe it when you say you'd be okay with Roseanne calling someone a c*nt. If she would have used that term to attack Michelle Obama you'd be screeching a different tune.

Ultimately I think them cancelling the show was better for everyone though, even Roseanne. She's a 65 year old lady who might be losing her mind a little. She complained about the schedule of making a TV show.

I wonder if Fox will give her a show. Lol.

I've always been so astounded at how many people actually admired that idiot. The guy who played him was clear that you weren't supposed to like him until he had his enlightened moments. I think those are what made the show great.

The english equivalent was Alf Garnett a character created and played solely to lampoon poor people supporting right wing parties which do him down.

For most of the rest of his life Warren Mitchell, the man who played Alf and a lifelong socialist, was on an extended "lads, what the flying fuck".

Regarding criticizing people criticizing her, I think she's probably frustrated that people who've done nothing are saying she's a bad person, when she's got a lifetime of hugely positive contributions that she had to fight tooth and nail for.

I think something happened to her brain - seriously.

So what? I liked Roseanne's show and have never seen Samantha Bee do anything. What does any of that have to do with saying cunt vs. being racist?
