Recall, I granted you an intelligent design, asked you if you thought that something was intelligent..and noted that it did,.in fact, account for exactly the sort of information you found instructive.

You weren;t satisfied. It was just intelligent design, rather than god design. If you post that trash on a dedicated forum...no one is going to be anywhere near as accommodating. You won;t understand what anyone is saying to you..because no one will make the effort to dumb it down for you. Then, they'll just give up on you, likely ban you, or at least pretend you don;t exist. They won;t even grant you the dignity of conversation.

Meanwhile, here...you get a mulligan on your entire life and a laundry list of absurd beliefs...because so many of us understand what you're going through. Some of us personally, others by proxy. I know what you meant by that, but i don't even think he reached that lofty high (for him) as soon as the assertion of design, god or intelligence is mentioned, it's simply not science anymore.  he won't understand why that is a problem though, heck ten years ago i would have even agreed with him, it's amazing how much clearer things become when you don't pre-suppose a god to attach your 'don't know's' to.

Yeah, I remember when I was a creationist and thought Evolution: The Fossils say No by Duane Gish was a science book. I don't remember being THIS stubborn, but that was pre-internet, so I might be giving myself too much credit.
