I look at it this way, both parties made up their minds when they had unprotected or underprotected sex. The woman is just the only one with an ejector seat. If she decides not to use that potential traumatic ejector seat should the man all of a sudden be exempt from his responsibilities? On the other end of the spectrum, I don't think a married woman should be able to get an abortion unless she can show that she physically or mentally is unfit, cannot afford a child, even with the help of her husband, or that she has the consent of her husband.

Is there a shortage of kids on this fucking planet? Definitely not and I don't suggest it as a legal method, it is just my personal belief. I wouldn't actually vote something like that in. I just find marriage to be something of a contract. Well, it is a contract, not really regarding children, but I do think a husband should have a choice. Many people go into marriages expecting to have children. A wife shouldn't be able to just flake without making that choice with her husband. Of course, there are also a shitload of other factors that make such a simplistic statement as my own impossible, such as abuse, pending divorces, etc. I really should have elaborated, but the gist of my feelings remain the same, from a moral standpoint. In a happy marriage, without mental or physical illness, financial instability or infidelity, a husband deserves a choice. Quote:but I do think a husband should have a choice. I think he should get to express an opinion....of course he is still not the one carrying it around for 9 months. But I contrast that with these religious busy-bodies who think they get to impose their barbaric religious beliefs on other people because they fucking feel like it. But I contrast that with these religious busy-bodies who think they get to impose their barbaric religious beliefs on other people because they fucking feel like it. And that is what my position boils down to, a man's opinion being valid. I think it is unfair that women get to simply dismiss it. There is no way I would back up enforcing such a thing, but I really do think women should take a future father's opinion into account. Arrangements can be made if she doesn't want to be a mother and he feels strongly enough about it to do it without her, should she be willing to have the baby. Imposing barbaric religious beliefs is the last thing I would suggest. There really are too many variables in romantic relationships and parenthood to possibly ever have legislation regarding it, contrary to the belief of douchebags who think that they have a right to live our lives for us. Here's a more in-depth exploration of
1. The overall perspective from which one sees and interprets the world. This phrasing implies that a worldview is a massive collection of beliefs and ideologies that one has accumulated throughout one's lifetime that have made one person think and live the way he does. Atheism is, contrary to whatever your preacher told you, is defined by exactly one belief: there is no reason to believe that there is a God. On its own, atheism is woefully incomplete and needs other ideologies to help to create a worldview. 2. A collection of beliefs about life and the universe held by an individual or a group. Once again, Atheism is defined by exactly one belief, and it is a negative belief (namely, that one does not believe in something): That there is no reason to believe in God. One belief is not a collection. I'm reminded of a bit from Father Ted: Dougal: Ted, have you seen my record collection? Ted: Record collection? Dougal: Yeah! ... Dougal: Here it is. (he picks up a single 45 RPM record) Ted: Dougal, you need more than one record to have a collection. What you have is a record.

I was born with the gift of laughter and a sense the world is mad.
As long as you aren't 'raptured.'
