It's been a while since I've posted photos and I've been meaning to so I finally remembered this morning!
I got a haircut a couple weeks ago which was badly needed. Here's the before pic of it looking mangy and all around funky:
^^-- This was about 4 months of growth with no cutting or trimming or anything.
And here is the after with it looking like an actual hairstyle and intentional and shit:
And here is my left side scar/radiation burn (and my birthmark if you can spot it, hehehe):
It's healing pretty well and it's noticeably lightening. You can see a big light patch in the middle-top area and when I wear shirts with lower necklines the burn isn't as visible anymore.
I have also noticed that my eyebrows haven't really grown back in yet so I've been drawing them on because without them my face looks incomplete and strange. It didn't look right when I wore earrings and something always looked off, and then I tried drawing on my eyebrows and I suddenly looked like myself again, it was a bizarre "before your very eyes" transformation. Odd how something so seemingly insignificant is actually so important.
Anyway, that's my update!

You’re an inspiration, CM. This takes my breath away. I can’t even begin to imagine what this experience has been like for you; the physical and mental/emotional toll; and you seem stronger and more confident than ever. I’m so glad you are well and cancer free. Fuck you, and the horse you rode in on, cancer! ❤️

You need to post that in area69... I should report this, but I don't have the time!

Thanks for the post CM. Not a week goes by that I don't think about you. Your art has become one of my wife's prized possessions.
What a skinny minnie! Has your appetite returned to normal yet? Sense of taste?

Aww, I'm glad your wife likes the painting!
My appetite has come back but I'm not really putting on weight so I'm still down about 12-15lbs from where I was pre-cancer. Honestly, though, I'm trying to regain my strength and stamina more than I'm trying to put weight on. I've lost a lot of muscle mass, my flexibility has gone down the crapper (not that it was great before but what I had I've lost), and I get really fatigued really quickly at the gym, including getting really light-headed several times during my classes, so I'm trying to work that stuff out more than the weight thing. That will come with time and when it does it'll be a healthier weight gain than pigging out on junk food just to put on pounds would do.

We should shield children from the effects of cancer?
(we were here having some fun and you came and ruined it.... thanks!)

Yep... That's what it seems that America thinks kids would react when they see a female chest.
While this is totally ok
Go figure!
