Take a cloth measuring tape and wrap it around your head, then, get on Google and find a conversion chart

I did make an Indy style hat once but I reworked it into a different style fedora...
But, anyway, as Joods said, use a cloth measuring tape, (Tailor's tape), and measure the circumstance of your head. Here's a conversion chart to get your hat size...
