Looks to me like injustice is occurring.

Furthermore, because you have yet to give a good argument past "it's racist to meeeeeeeeeeeee", I will maintain that you are acting in a manner most befitting of the religious folks over here in the States who are upset that their personal views on whatever are not taught to everyone.`

I don't want to be repetitious. The court will decide whether the charge is proven. It may go my way, it may go yours. That's life and how our justice system works.

I think it's ridiculous that someone can be prosecuted for having something on display in their window. It's high time the government stopped acting like the morality police and started letting people have their own opinions.

Also, my friend bought me the doll for a joke, because I told him I'd always wanted one, mainly to piss off the uptight PC brigade who think banning toys is going to somehow get rid of racism.

I find the golliwig image offensive. I guess I'm of an age to know the history. If there are people around that are offended, then it would be responsible to respect their feelings.
There was an uproar in my home town when asians first displayed the swastica everywhere at festival time - to them a respected religious symbol had been stolen and abused by the nazis. There was some healing there.
