Word of mouth . . . social media . . . good luck with those sources. Lol As a conservative, I assume you would agree with the need for a vigorous democratic process at the local and state levels to offset centralized power at the federal level. Devotion to federalism is supposed to be one of the pillars of your politics. I would think you would not be so cavalier about local news. As for Jefferson's quotes, most of the papers of his time were simply partisan rags. Journalistic standards and practices have changed somewhat since then, and the better papers provide vastly better news coverage than was typical of 1800. Lol As a conservative I think that my actions as an individual have far greater impact on my well-being than the actions of government, so yeah, I'm pretty cavalier about it. The constitution was set up pretty well so that we can just go about our lives. Lol The issue isn't about whether you can stick your head in the sand (I assume you do), but whether you should. The Constitution isn't a damn government auto-pilot setting. The framers envisioned an educated, engaged citizenry. But to each his own, I suppose. I hope that word of mouth thing works out for you. RE: How Fucked Up Are Trumptards?
