We reported him to the police the same time we removed him. We weren’t aware of the problem until his behavior was reported, so unless you have a suggestion on reading minds over the Internet or predicting the future, I’m not sure how more efficient we could have been.

They contacted the police because there was enough cause to do so. It's called doing the right thing. You should try it sometime.

The fact that it wasn't about something site specific, is of no concern to you. If someone is presenting themselves as a danger to the public, there's a moral obligation to the public to keep people safe. If you have a problem with that then perhaps you should go play in fucking traffic.
