Because it is innate in humans to get rid of the canary's syndrome.

A canary born in a cage, right?
One day the poor bird realized that he is equipped with a pair of wings that would allow him (it) to fly.
When this realization get stronger and stronger the owner of the poor bird is bound to help him and that stage is the stage where the student is ready so the master is bound to help him to get free.
It will takes time for the poor bird to learn how to fly as his wings are too weak but as the time and the efforts get him stronger the bird get more and more awareness that he can fly as per his natural Dharma (scope of life so to speak) and with the inner guidance he eventually will get free.

Free from the bondage of not being able to be the real him.  Lightbulb

I'm not a bird, I'm a hamster. LoL

That will not make any difference PP as you would still be stuck inside a body that prevent you from being the real YOU.
It will take more time for you to understand that you are NOT the body but eventually you too like everybody else will come to this conclusion and this will be a reality not a story.  Lightbulb

Sorry Kit but you make a claim by saying that you know what the truth is.
Can you please explain what the truth is?  Bird

Yes you did indeed.
By saying.................A false hope offering comfort is always more appealing to most people than the harsh reality of truth............you imply that you know what the truth is.  Lightbulb

Take your time Kit.
Now LR goes to sleep so I can wait till tomorrow for you to put up or admit that you don't know what you are talking about.  Hi

Oh, did I?

Do you see any personal first person pronouns in that quote? No, you don't. That is because I did not make a claim.

Got it now?
