On one hand, a woman can easily cover herself up with a blanket or something while breastfeeding, so as not to be openly exposing their breast to everyone.
On the other, it's just a breast and, at least here in the US, we're way too uptight about nudity and sex. It's kinda like, who cares?
A baby's gotta eat when a baby's gotta eat, so I wouldn't really say we can tell women NOT to do it. I just don't see what's so hard about covering up a bit. I also don't care about seeing a breast if a woman decides not to cover up. I guess I don't really give a crap either way.
Again, there is no debate, no middle ground. It is not the woman's fault or the baby's fault. Only a fucking dick would object to it. You also understand 200,000 years ago our species didn't widely have cloths.
The idea of covering up came from prudish religion. Do you see other primates covering up when feeding their young? Does a cat or dog cover up when feeding their young?

Okay, that's fine if that's your comfort level with it. I would personally say even 2 is a little old to be breastfeeding. But I'm not a mother, so once again I suppose that's fine if it's fine to you.

There are plenty of things wrong with this position you're taking. But I have a feeling that getting into that wouldn't help you change your mind all too much.
So, here's the gist. My position toward it is apathy... I don't really care either way. If that's a middle ground, then that's where I'm at. Your insistence that there's only one way to look at this topic is a little bizarre, even if I do agree with the sentiment of - who cares it's just breastfeeding. There's more than one way to look at things.

No, I never have
One character is called "Milkman" because his mother breast fed him until he was ... 12(?). It was a required read in "Introduction to Fiction" at Purdue. Completely outside my zone and fascinating. I wrote a five page paper on the last five pages.

Then if you are apathetic on this, you let assholes hide behind their own insecurities.
Now, unless you can explain to me what is so "unnatural" about breast feeding, and show me your medical peer reviewed journals, I'd say the ones with the problems are not the ones doing it, but the ones objecting to it.
"who cares it's just breast feeding"..... STOP RIGHT THERE, that is the point. Nobody should care. The fact some do makes those who do assholes.
If nobody should care, then the right position is to tell those who are insecure to fuck off.

I have no influence on laws or public policies at this current point in time. I'm not letting or making anyone do anything. This seems like more of a strange type of high horse tactic than a genuine attempt to get someone to see why apathy is possibly harmful. I'd work on the delivery of that argument if I were you.

I'm not required to provide evidence for a talking point I never made. I never said it was unnatural.

If nobody should care, then the right position is to tell those who are insecure to fuck off. I agree no one should care. But calling people you disagree with assholes and telling people the only correct position is to tell those you personally disagree with to fuck off is not only alarmingly immature but completely harmful to the concept of having a meaningful discussion. If you truly care about this issue that much I'd suggest you learn how to argue your position better.

Nah. We're not fucked up about sex. We're just determined to keep it in it's proper place. Hidden away from everything and never discussed in any healthy way.

I personally didn’t breastfeed my kids that long. That’s just the oldest that would feel comfortable to me. But yea, as long as the mother is comfortable and the child is comfortable, it’s really none of my business.
