16 is the age of consent here. In the Vatican the age of consent is 14 just so you know. Countries have different laws regarding sex.

It's borderline as he was just within age range were it would be legal as for why something can be legal but still be socially taboo .

Huggy is trying to compare apples to oranges in order to suit his own agenda. A relationship that Milk had (albeit wrong as it may be) , has nothing to do with the assaults committed by Cosby. One was actually convicted in a court of law, the other was never charged. And the only reason huggy brings it up is because he knows he has nothing else to argue.

Oh, and my ability to parent has fuck all to do with it either. I have 4 kids. Huggy has none. That's just his sad attempt to bring yet another irrelevant subject up, in order to take the focus away from the purpose of the thread topic. A topic he doesn't like because a black man got a fair trial and was convicted for his crimes.

She was 18 but it wouldn't have made any difference if she was 16. She was fully adult and able to make choices about her relationships.

Seconded. Technically legal in some jurisdictions, including most of Europe (except for Cyprus, Ireland, Turkey, and Vatican City) and 31 of America’s 50 states, though not in New York (where he lived at the time) or California (where he became famous), but at the very least morally questionable (I recommend people trying to have sex with people at or above the local age of consent, but below 18, tread REALLY FUCKING LIGHTLY.)
