Objective Morality?

RE: Objective Morality?
If he disapproves, it's for the same reason as yourself Stat. It makes him uncomfortable. Hopefully you don't need to invoke god to determine what you do or don't like about dick?
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

There are homophobic atheists, too. Not saying Min is, make sure you hear me, I'm just saying they exist.

I think I've posted before that I once had two friends that would tie for "most homophobic guy I've ever known". It's a tossup, both were extreme homophobes complete with feelings of rape anxiety, but what was interesting is one was Christian and the other was an atheist.

The biggest difference in their styles of homophobia is that the Christian was open about it, unabashedly using the word "fag". The atheist was less expressive and in denial about his feelings, I guess understanding that they were no longer fashionable. It was a sort of "what do I care what two wierdos do as long as they keep it out of my face" kind of bigotry.

The only difference between a Christian homophobe and an atheist homophobe is the atheist has to own his/her own bigotry while the Christian can say "hey, it's not me but what the author of this book thinks."

He didn’t say anything about it making him uncomfortable, he said he doesn’t approve of it. So I just wanted to know why he didn’t.

Nope, it takes threats of hell and repeated harassment to that effect to cross the line into bigotry (or something similar to that effect). Not that I could teach you anything about bigotry. Worship (large)

False equivocation. Adultery is a betrayal of trust. Since it injures another party, a case that it is immoral is much easier than love between people with similar body parts.

By the way, maybe you can answer this question, as no other Christian could. Why does love become evil when the body parts are similar?

Whoa now wait a second here, if someone objects to homosexuality they are automatically a bigot but if they object to adultery they are not? I smell some illogical reasoning going on here on your part. Why apply the rule to one but not the other?

Oh! So if you commit adultery and don’t get caught then it’s no longer wrong because you didn’t actually do any harm to anyone?

Homosexuality is wrong because it is contrary to God’s decreed will. (EDITED for clarification).

Less bigoted people than yourself.

Anyone who truly understands human behavior and doesn't rely on there morals from text inspired millenia ago by narrow minded, desert dwelling tribal leaders and self appointed religious leaders I suppose.
