My first is a legitimate question and snark is not an answer to it .

My second are you high ?By any reasonable standard, And that's not what i said i said failure is greatly decreased by competence thus can compensate for the chance of failure . However if your incompetent your clearly going to have a higher rate of failure .

Nobody is talking about skill level.

" sporting chance" is simply adding some component to your hunt as to increase the likelihood of failure.

This isn't done for the benefit of the animal. It' s done for the benefit of the weak willed hunter that hasn't quite come to the reality of what they are doing, or why.

The only thing that would benefit the animal in a hunt is a quick painless death. 

Setting up obstacles to make the hunt harder in the name of " sporting chance" is making the likely hood of a slow painful death for the animal more likely.
