I'm generally a great exam taker based on minimal studying... that minimal studying part is definitely gonna bite me in the ass later.

Yeah, I was the same way. Never had to study, just showed up to class and took the exams. That bit me in the ass later.

Found the water coming back into the basement. This time, we confirmed that it was due to the humidistat. We’ve fixed the problem (for now, at least.)

And now, I head to work for the first day of my bookkeeping internship.

Just met with my CADI case manager (Community Access for Disability Inclusion). They handle allocation of services and equipment I need to keep living in the community. We have an annual assessment where we go over everything to see if my needs have changed and how to appropriately meet those needs. We talked about seeing an occupational therapist to investigate options which might allow me to do more in the kitchen in terms of skills and equipment. I need a referral from my doctor, so that's next up. And I've wanted to get a motorized scooter of some sort for transportation, but such a scooter would need to be adapted for my use, which is expensive. Still unclear about what adaptations they can make, but apparently the scooter needs to be one that requires a license to operate it or they won't cover it. So any scooter I pursue would have to be over 50 cc's / 30 m.p.h., and I'd need to get a motor cycle license to operate it in my state. We also discussed my need to get more exercise. My current insurance plan doesn't cover gym memberships, but it's open enrollment time, and I could choose a different insurance plan that does. I just need to see what I might lose coverage for if I switch. I think I've got until the end of the year to decide, so there's time to investigate. (I think. I'll have to hunt up that letter.)

So, anyway, overall a productive meeting, even if the scooter requirements are not what I would like, at least I know that a scooter is an option.

Apparently I have until December 5th to change insurance plans. Guess I better get hopping.

Filling out a lengthy email to a prospective insurance provider to determine what current services they will cover and any relevant changes from my current plan. "Whee."

Cleaned the coach lamps on either side of the garage door, because they had so many frigging spiderwebs in them that they looked really bad. Last time I cleaned spider webs around there I ended up with several bites.
