I have never been a Buddhist and would never be a Buddhist. If I had to classify myself as any religion, I would be a Christian-Hindu-Deist although I don't agree with any of those religions entirely. I think the Bible was inspired by Prophets of God, but then tampered with and added to enormously by men. I only agree with Hindus on karma, reincarnation and that our souls always have been and always will be. I am a Deist only in the sense that I do not believe God interferes or intervenes in our lives here, and that this earth is our challenge to undertake.

The imperfections in design are due to the fall.

These aren't imperfections, they're just there. With a very few exceptions, they don't do anything. It's like reading two different essays and finding that the two students have written the very nearly word for word. A smart person might conclude something about that sort of commonality.
