You can tell when an article has substance, or is fluff, by how often it is cited, and whether the articles citing it are trying to argue a “philosophical” point, or are substantively propose testable hypothesis or announce verifiable results.

You can be damned sure citation of articles supporting creationism don’t occur much in substantive work proposing testable hypothesis or announcing verifiable results.

In philosophy, systems theory, science, and art, emergence is the condition of an entity having properties its parts do not have, due to interactions among the parts.

Ok, so my first question about emergence would be, how are these interactions among the parts happening?

Cutting to the chase, Evie’s “logic” is it doesn’t matter that complex system can spontaneously form without intelligence, because the only reason why it can appear to do that is because some some grand intelligence made reality that way.

How did the grand intelligence form then? By what process would it come to care whether you die or suffer? By what mechanism does it create or order reality?

But for Evie’s the grand intelligence of her happy fiction is exempt from the rule she applies to,everything else. It just is, and just happen to be the way she wants it no less.

Your simpleton “logic” is absolutely not a thing more than “I can argue by assertion but you can’t”.
