I'd just like to say that I'd rather be in a Jagdpanther lying in wait than in any of the tanks approaching me. Just sayin'.

Better stay 16 mile ballistic range plus 2 mile blast radius from the river, plus however many miles of fallout zone, provided the wind is blowing across the river from the gun. I prefer British Archer tank destroyer. It’s like a jagdpanther, but with the gun pointed backwards over the engine deck. That way I can shoot and then runaway without even having to shift into reverse, and the driver can see where I am running away to. I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!
My dad was a bazooka man in Italy. He rarely spoke about the fighting but one time when we were watching a movie an American bazooka blew an oncoming German Mk IV sky high. He snorted. He told me that near Anzio he hit a Mark IV head on and his rocket just bounced off. I asked what he did and he said "we ran like thieves...."

Infantrymen who fights tanks from the front probably can’t be said to be experienced.
