Is atheism a belief?

If you say so, Huggy, lol.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

You gotta ask each atheist individually. Some say they believe in things and some say they don't. Some go to church, some don't. Some think there are supernatural beings, some say there aren't. So on, and so on, and so on (infinity)...

Seek strength, not to be greater than my brother, but to fight my greatest enemy -- myself.

No, I would honestly throw them off my porch if they knocked on my door and tried that nonsense. Now if it was just atheists selling cookies to help cancer victims or children with disabilities, then I would probably buy some. I think it's good for any group that organizes to contribute, which is why I like what some of the atheist churches are doing. They're trying to volunteer out in their communities. Nothing wrong with that. I'll go out and help them if I have nothing else going on. But making idiotic requests is just that...idiotic. Mystical dragons and birds are a part of their culture and believed to be real. They are also exceptionally atheistic compared to the rest of the world. Even many of their government offices require it as a prerequisite. |
