Waco biker shootout is officially over

Waco biker shootout is officially over
Nine people died and another 20 were injured nearly 4 years ago. Hundreds were arrested and spent months in jail. The one case brought to trial ended in a hung jury. Now the rioting charges against the 24 remaining defendants are being dropped. It's over. Zero convictions.

At least those criminals were acting responsibly, they only shot each other.
Put them all on an island or something* with an unlimited supply of guns, knaves, bows & arrows and the last man standing gets a pardon.

Un fucking believable! 9 people die and you'd think some of the shooters would do life in prison.

Welcome to the United States Of Dirty Harry.

One person went to trial but wasn't convicted. Due at least in part to misconduct by the authorities.

Two others were charged with murder, but the charges were dropped. One can only assume they didn't actually have enough evidence to convict them.

At least one of the bikers that killed someone was also killed.

Some of the others were killed by the police. For example, Wayne Lee Campbell was leaning against the balcony of the patio with his hands in his pockets when he was shot in the face by one of the cops with an AR-15. Daniel Raymond Boyett was shot in the head with the same rifle that killed Campbell as he crawled toward the police. Richard Vincent Kirschner was first shot with a 38 by someone he was attacking with a chain then shot twice again with a high powered rifle. Which rifle wasn't identified, but the only people know to have been using rifles were the police. It is possible some of the other fatalities were the result of police fire too, but there simply wasn't enough evidence to know for sure who killed them.

So who is supposed to go to jail for life? Some random biker picked from the crowd?
