Evolution/creation video
December 6, 2019 at 11:40 am
I've been working on this idea or concept with you guys and others for a while and I have since made a little video/outline of the basic premise. This is the same subject we have discussed in the past usually under the name of how to assimilate all of evolution without changing the bible or the theory of evolution. Just in a video out line. I plan on using this out line to make a animated short.
Let me know if this makes the concept easier to understand than our pure discussion in the past.

That seems much clearer than prior, when I've heard you speak of it.
"There ought to be a term that would designate those who actually follow the teachings of Jesus, since the word 'Christian' has been largely divorced from those teachings, and so polluted by fundamentalists that it has come to connote their polar opposite: intolerance, vindictive hatred, and bigotry." -- Philip Stater, Huffington Post

great, I think or am thinking of doing several videos on various other subject that seem to get lost in the text.
Do you or any one else have any suggestions of past topics I was thinkng:
The ark
Slavery
A/S/K: how to experience God
How pray work and what it is.
I was thinking of even recounting my angel experience by driving the same route I did that night i had the encounter.
Any other topic and or suggestions would be seriously considered.

I wanted to be a comic book letterer back in the day. But the spelling and grammar was too big of a deal.. looks like I practiced too much on the calligraphy rather than on the rules of the language..
Thanks for the compliment an taking time to check out the video

But why evolution and Bible creation story? Why not evolution and Native American origin story? Many Native American peoples share a belief that they emerged from the earth. For the Hopi and other Pueblo peoples, after they emerge they meet the caretaker of the earth who instructs them to honor Mother Earth by taking care of her. They are instructed to walk to the world’s farthest corners, to learn the earth with their feet and to find their Center Place.
Or why not evolution and Hindus creation story? Or why not evolution and ancient Greek creation story? Or evolution and Viking creation story: Ymir, the Frost giant, was created in the area were two worlds merged. Niflheim, the land of endless winter, and Muspelheim the land of summer.
Also the cow, Audhumla arose and Ymir fed from her milk. Ymir slept, and from his sweat blocks of ice fell. The first man and women inside these blocks.
The first cow began to lick the blocks till the man and woman were melted out. Buri, and Bor. Bor married Bestla, and they became the parents of the first three of the gods.
Odin, Vili, and Ve. Odin, Vili, and Ve cut off Ymirs head and flooded the giants with his blood, and drowning them in his blood.
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

The Discworld mythos might be more amenable to this:
The Creator intended to make a pizza and things got out of hand.

Because again I have indeed tested out most of those religions and have only found the one God to fulfill what their holy book promised. Plus what I shared was given to me in pieces as fast as i could write it all down. it was all out of order but I compiled it checked it and very very little had to be changed. if you look at my first thread on this you will note very little has changed. which has been over 10 years now.

How do you test a religion? Especially one from another? Promises are a vague thing, but whatever.
