[Serious] Question for the Trump supporters

Question for the Trump supporters
Okay, a serious question for those who support Trump.

What, in your opinion, has he actually done right.

Note the "serious" tag.

RE: Question for the Trump supporters
From what I noticed, Trump supporters have given up discussing him on this forum.
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

It is absolutely true and possible for an atheist to support him. But to me, it is like blacks and gays and latinos/hispanics supporting him. Why?

Marco Rubio is a right wing republican, who panders to the Cuban refugee history of South Florida. What he is ignorant of, or ignores or does not care about, is the fact that Fidel Castro died with a personal estimated wealth of $800,000,000. And on top of that the Catholic religion is the majority faith of that communist country to this day.

It is also a myth that China lacks religion. They allow every religion, what they don't allow is dissent for any reason, public or private or political or religious. One can google image Christian Churches in China, they do exist.

I'm not a supporter, but he did sign that prison reform legislation I wanted and I was sure he was going to do something to fuck it up at the last minute.
I'm not anti-Christian. I'm anti-stupid.

Even then, Obama was the one who cut the prison population while he was in office.

If you want to get an idea why a Trump supporter would support him in the first place, you need to go to the media that they go to.  Watch Faux News, Infowars, Breitbart, stuff like that.  I know, it's propaganda and they're constantly lying and they're routinely disproven, but they're able to effectively spread their message to a more or less mainstream audience convincingly and effectively enough that they're having a HUGE influence on elections.  If you want to get an idea what I'm talking about, there's a documentary on Amazon Prime called "The Brainwashing of my Dad."  The documentarian actually tracks how her own father turns from a nice, normal, fairly intelligent, compassionate person and morphs into an angry, hateful, right-wing lunatic and it all started with him listening to Rush Limbaugh while commuting to and from work.  And they document the intentional steps right wing people/groups took to create people like him.  The good news is, they were able to un-brainwash him at the end by cutting him off from the right wing garbage.

I watched that happen with much of my generation in real time beginning with the handshake between Reagan and Falwell.

Beccs, I can comment from afar.
The people were fed up with same same. Hillary was the extension of that current establishment.
People had an "affair" with Trump.
By that I mean, in an affair you are attracted to the 10% that is lacking from your current girlfriend government.
But in doing that, you risk losing the 90% you took for granted. (which is what happened).

A lot of people wanted the gov shaken up. A lot of people were not prepared for the level of shaking. A lot of people ought to be sorry, but I'm not holding my breath. Given the chump's skill at bankrupting businesses, I just hope he doesn't bankrupt the US as well.
