Sex slaves and polygamy, I don't think so. But what is more curious, or not because WinterHold is dishonest, is that he didn't address the most notorious verse in Koran about wife beating and that is 4:34

"Men are in charge of women by [right of] what Allah has given one over the other and what they spend [for maintenance] from their wealth. So righteous women are devoutly obedient, guarding in [the husband's] absence what Allah would have them guard. But those [wives] from whom you fear arrogance - [first] advise them; [then if they persist], forsake them in bed; and [finally], strike them. But if they obey you [once more], seek no means against them. Indeed, Allah is ever Exalted and Grand."

Where you can see that Koran tells husbands to beat their wives if they are disobedient.

And if we look what Koranic scholars say about it, like Syed Mahmud Allusi in the commentaries: "if she refuses to beautify herself for him," if she refuses sex when he asks for it, if she refuses to pray or perform ritual ablutions, and "if she goes out of the house without a valid excuse."

And this has influence on Muslims. In 2005, when Chad tried to institute a new family law that would outlaw wife beating, Muslim clerics protested that the measure was un-Islamic. https://www.thenewhumanitarian.org/featu...omen-equal

...and the husband can flat out deny to agree to divorce and keep beating her up, because the sura contains that nasty if , doesnt it?

No, the topic is about Islamic marriage and the state of women within it. This means that every post in this thread is relevant and related to the topic. Just a heads up.

No, I don't think that sex slaves are remotely close to the op.
It's sad to see what you really are.

But please stick to the op, and do your job as a mod.

The takeway here, Winter, or at least what a person watching you do this to yourself is probably going to get from it - is that you could not and do not accept islam for what it is. That's not a bad thing. You won't be the first person who wanted to fix their religion.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

I’ve done my job as a mod. I reported you for abusing the report system. Which, unlike your attempts at playing the victim, IS a violation of the rules.

Disrupting the discussion which speaks about marriage in Islam with repeated messages about slavery like FM did IS the violation of the rules.

https://atheistforums.org/thread-61203-p...pid1985514

Mods who intentionally ignore rules like rule #8 which says:

Quote:8.Trolling is not allowed. Troll behavior includes, but is not limited to repeatedly:

Making provocative posts.
Making posts that are unrelated / irrelevant to the thread or conversation subject.
Disrupting normal discussion.
Provoking specific members by referring to them negatively on your profile/signature.

https://atheistforums.org/rules.php#trolling

Such biased mods are not "mods". Their judgement is not fair;rather "biased". Such mods are corruption to the place they are in.

AF was once great because it didn't allow such corruption to touch it.
It didn't have compromises or mods who bellydance around rules.

But now it has; you are the example with your current behavior.
