OMG, I killed Charlotte. Stepped on her and a bunch of baby spiders came pouring out of her broken body.

RE: Random Thoughts
A very drunk and notoriously violent man asked me if I believed in God in the local pub after I told him my name (it's biblical). Sensing from the environment that if I told the truth there would be fisticuffs and other entertainment, I gave a vague non-committal "spirit of humanity" dodge to be left in peace with my beer.

Am I a coward? Depends how you look at it. I could've told this violent man the truth and possibly end in a fight, but I chose to lie and be left alone.

Those who know me, know my stance on faith. I'm not gonna entertain a possible bloody nose because of some principle talking with (violent) strangers.

Sal, I do the same.
If a person wants to have an intelligent discussion, (extremely rare), then sure. Everyone else sincerely gets told what they want to hear so they can eff off.

Hmmm...not willing to be beaten into belief.   Consoling

There are times when the less said the better...seems this was one of those times.

Funny how what's personal to some, others think they have the right to know.

Much to my chagrin, I've gone there, not about religion, but a pool game. Of course, he started swinging first, before I was even looking.  Huh
If you get to thinking you’re a person of some influence, try ordering somebody else’s dog around.

From day to day interaction with people, I don't advertise my beliefs; philosophical, ideological or otherwise.

I'm of the conviction that most people don't operate in their daily activities out from any sort of ideological framework, but rather act according to their immediate environment to needs and necessities.

The whole ideology thing are just fanciful ways in which people try to explain behavior, poorly.

I would have told the truth. I've gotten into religious and political debates while drunk at the bar.

How's your left hook? Or are you one of those guys like me that go in low and kick out one of their knee caps, so that every step they take for the rest of their lives, they remember you? It was my MO when there was a bunch of them looking for trouble. I'm missing pieces of teeth, etc., because of that. Why can't people just be drunk and jollyHuh

This was a gay bar, the most we would have done was flail our hands at each other like teenage girls. As it was, the discussions were always civil.
