The correct response here to "I'm not a pussy" is "No, you're an asshole."

The man carried out a military mission as was assigned. This has nothing to do with him wearing or not wearing a mask.

He is one of the many who don't think they need to wear a mask even where one is required. I am sure his "hero" status has fed his ego to the point that he sees no reason why he should be considerate of others...since he's so special, of course.

Yep. I agree. If one is not wearing a mask, they are a selfish asshole. 

Back in 18 when I took my first trip to Australia long before this pandemic, I noticed lots of people wearing masks even though back then it wasn't a mandate. I didn't get it back then, but looking  back, I get it now. Humans worldwide have a wide variety of immunities, or lack thereof, and even conditions that can put them at higher risk, even for common illnesses. Covid is a "novel" virus, which means currently the world does not have a vaccine for. That makes it especially dangerous. 

These mask haters don't understand it isn't about their own risk taking, it is also about preventing spread to others, including spread to their own family and friends.

I kid you not, once a few years go, in the middle of the night, my TV remote batteries crapped out on me while channel surfing, and I got stuck on Fox News. I literally called a cab to take me to Walmart to buy new batteries just to get off that fucking channel.
