What’s a reasonable amount to give on Christmas?
December 25, 2020 at 7:30 pm
Considering suburbs in north east and not a metro city like NYC, what is a good amount to give to servicing folks? We gave total of $200 to cleaning ladies (two of them) but I am not sure if it’s reasonable amount or not.
Also, who else are you supposed to give money? Post office person delivering mail? I am not sure if they are allowed to accept money from people.
Thanks in advance.

We give all of our service people $50 each - package service, regular mail, garbage collectors, everyone. And when we dine out during December, we tip the amount of the bill.

Atheists are exempt.
That's my story.
I'm sticking to it.

I typically give a small gift card for each of the volunteers that deliver meals in the building. That's about the extent of such things in my life.
