BTW - feel pretty run down today.  I keep hearing horror stories about how bad people feel after the second shot - I can't wait...sigh.

The second dose of the shingles vaccine was awful for me.  I was sick for about three days.  Looks like this may be a replay of that.

I had that pain with both shingles shots (at one of which I also got the Prevnar-13 shot, which was also stupid painful). I have a suspicion that the level of pain/reaction means that a person might have been more susceptible to the disease the vaccination was meant for. No scientific basis for that. I had a seriously painful case (is there even another kind?) of shingles in '99, about 10 years before that vaccination.
