Yes, more moisture in our atmosphere can cause extreme weather events like snow storms in places that don't typically get snow. Global warming doesn't effect the tilt of the earth, nor does it stop seasonal cooling due to that tilt.
It just means that the global climate is changing. Hotter summers, more hurricanes that have the potential for extreme devastation, extreme winter storms, rising oceans, melting glaciers, an Arctic free of ice in the summertime, Greenland and Antarctic ice sheets melting at unprecedented rates, oceans becoming more acidic, potential for large scale war over water rights and resources.
All of this is being driven by an increase in CO2 in our atmosphere from the burning of fossil fuels.

We're in a pickle, lightly put. We know/knew that we needed to do this thing in order to prevent the historic and contemporary expression of all of these human ills, but we now know (and knew for some time) that the eventual price to be paid would be dire. We have simultaneously failed to achieve best use case and gone over our allotted leeway. A failure coming, and going. We'll never have this opportunity again. What could have been a skylift for the entire human species has become the engine of a significant amount of our own destruction.

Seems as though no one has any explanations for these phenomenal occurrences as it doesn't fit their doomsday narrative...
So much for global warming... 
Yes we do, actually. It's called "Weather".
Words have/are attached to specific meanings hence distinctions such as 'Boat' and 'Ship'.
'Weather' is what happens each day over areas of the globe.
'Climate Change' is the aggregate of all the 'Weather' from across the planet over time.

Something tells me that none of those buildings were built with snow in mind, is that a problem?
