I swear, this one nurse wanted me to quit last night. But I saw right through her controlling ploy. And when I said, "good thing this is my last weekend," she played dumb.
Then the break room was filled with CNAs discussing the nonsense supernatural stuff they believe in. Seeing ghosts everywhere, they are. Plus one aide's daughter is apparently possessed by a demon. I was mentally rolling my eyes the entire time.

When you play the authority angle, claiming that the only proper way to do something is for me to follow orders from higher tiers of a hierarchy, I am naturally going to rebel. Even at my age. I am the one doing the labor and somehow unreasonably getting paid less than those mainly supervising.

I want someone to invent self-cleaning eyeglasses.
50+ years of wearing glasses and there are times when I look at mine and wonder how I am even able to walk around without bumping into walls.

If you take the movie "Madagascar" and cut every scene that doesn't include lemurs, penguins, or chimpanzees, it's still pretty damn entertaining.

I made $50 today, $20 each from two guys and $10 from one guy. I could get used to this.

I don't know if there's enough Arctic Victorian horror novels or slasher movies with animatronic villains to count as their own subgenres, but I know that I've read/watched enough of both (two, to be precise) to know that if there were, I'd be a huge fan of both.

Btw, wouldn't you make more if you had a minimum wage job? I always swallow, even though I dislike the taste. Spitting is bad manners. And yeah, maybe I would make more at a real job, but I hate working real jobs.
