Nudge is of the opinion that being in support of the 1st Amendment is a white supremacist position. Therefore, to Nudge, the majority of Americans are the real problem, because the majority of the country supports freedom of speech being upheld, which according to Nudge's fear mongering, is supposedly going to lead to a white ethnostate in America. I guess we'll have to wait to see if that's going to be happening to the US any time soon, but I somehow doubt that's how things are going to go, but who knows, maybe Nudge is onto something and the sky really is falling and the US is about to turn into the 4th reich.

Seems like this thread is a miss. I mean, the fact that OP was quickly banned after creating it should be a clue.

I support the 1st Amendment, and I disagree with the concept of hate speech in general, and hate speech laws as well, obviously. Nudge thinks that unless I agree with shutting down people's rights and civil liberties, the white ethnostatists are going to use my "so called" liberal views against me to spread their message and take power.

We've had this discussion before. The US also has hate speech laws, which in no way run afoul of our 1st amendment rights (which are not equivalent to your first amendment rights..you filthy canadian), a question that has been repeatedly asked and answer in our courts throughout history. The right of americans to say horrible shit is in no way being infringed..even as the protected speech which is threatened in the us is being threatened by the people who insist their right to say horrible shit is being abrogated.
Nothing has changed about this since the last time we discussed it. Nothing has changed about my position on protected speech since we last discussed it. Nothing has changed..about your need to validate white supremacist propaganda...since we last discussed it.
It doesn't even rise to the level of a mistake, but I think you know that.
