RE: Why do I say that Islam is an evil religion?

Islam and even other religions do not benefit much from psychology and sociology.
This religion is the personal opinion of an illiterate, which is propagated as the opinion of God, the creator of the world.
Notice what a disaster it would be for the world if we wanted the opinions of a hoodlums to know the opinions of God.
You see, when many men and women, children and teenagers are together, they instinctively behave well together. But the religion of Islam has made human relationships to be regulated in the framework of ethics and the idea of an illiterate Arab shepherd.
In the religion of Islam, people have been classified and some people have been hated by others, and they have directly and indirectly recommended to treat the hated people badly.
For example, in Islam, music is considered the voice of Satan and it is recommended that people mistreat musicians.
It is also recommended to mistreat sexy women.
Islam has given the worst insult to chess players.
Therefore, one of the defects of Islam is that the morals, behavior, ideas and wishes of a mentally ill wild shepherd called Muhammad, the Messenger of God, are imposed on people as teachings of the Islamic religion in the form of Hadith, Quran and Sunnah.

Does that help them sing better?

I wasn’t going to participate to this debate but today I read this:
https://www.yahoo.com/news/turkish-singe...56208.html
This is about an (awfull) T-Pop singer called Gulsen. She did two things. 1) she opened a LGBTQ flag in one of her concerts. 2) She made a joke about the (much renowned) religious schools of Turkey whose only activity is to take poor children starting from the age of 7 and turn them into fanatical political islamists under the cover of being “educational instittutions”.
This lady isn’t even a political person. She’s a very materialistic person who doesn’t have a lot to do with politics and intellectualism. And there are laws in our legal code that prohibit people from “insulting minorities or minority groups”. What these (human creatures) are doing is to take this law and apply it to this lady and cause her to stay in an awful prison environment of 15 days and be on trial with the possibility of being imprisoned for up to 3 years. And we’re talking about someone whose nail-polishing set is probably more expensive than half of my entire wardrobe here.
The thing is: everybody hates religion now and everybody wants to go as far away as possible from religion because no one wants to be anywhere near these (sons of Adam).
But there is another approach as well: I have reading materials and books of very important and prominent Islamic scholars who are breaking everything they are doing into pieces and showing us that everything that these very human persons are doing are the exact opposite of the original message of religion and in fact, I am going to give a little bit into detail here, that the “pharaoh” that is mentioned in many verses of the Koran is actually a perfect description the these people (political islamists).
So that’s my vision of things. In 1683, in Massachusetts (Today’s USA) there was the famous Salem witch trials. With arbitrary detention of women, tortures, fake trials, forced confessions in which women (who probably just looked different for some reason) were put on the stake and burned by cheering mobs. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Salem_witch_trials
And this is what they are doing. They take an upper class pop-singer lady. They put her into awful prison conditions. They misinterpret the existing body of laws (willingly). And they say “Burn, witch, burn”.
This simply doesn’t fit into the definition of religion. This isn’t religion. This is ideology. The two are different thing. That’s what I am saying

So I see that you don’t like them, so you want to put them somewhere away from you. All I am saying is “Don’t put them next to me, I don’t want them either, just put them where they belong”

Religion both creates ideology to further itself, and is always available provides convenient rationale or excuse for otherwise unviable ideology.

Just to pick a particular nit, no ‘witches’ were burned at Salem.

What do you mean?
Quote (Wikipedia): "The Salem witch trials were a series of hearings and prosecutions of people accused of witchcraft in colonial Massachusetts between February 1692 and May 1693. More than 200 people were accused. Thirty people were found guilty, 19 of whom were executed by hanging (14 women and five men). One other man, Giles Corey, was pressed to death after refusing to enter a plea, and at least five people died in jail."
