Do you think that there is any good in suffering?  Is someone who had never suffered better off than someone who has?

Yes, much better off.

Quote:Atheists look at our lives beginning when we emerge from the womb and ending when we draw our last breath.
That's not a default atheist position

Quote: Theists view our lives as continuing after our bodies die.
That does not justify needless suffering

Quote:Suffering is often a preparation for something good.
There is no need for said suffering the good thing could just happen. That is an absolutely Sado masochistic view.

Quote: A US Marine is only one after he goes through boot camp hell
Considering a magic god exists he could just instantly create US marines that is a silly analogy, in fact, why would an all-powerful invincible need marines? In fact in an ideal world there would be no need for marines as there would be no war. This is a very silly analogy... Dodgy

Are you saying at some point in god history , god and no thing existed at the same time?

Hey Lek,

You seem to know a lot about this always existing god, what was the first this it invented?

He didn't invent anything. It was already existing. He manifested creation. A chocolate bunny looks like a bunny, but it is just chocolate formed into the shape of a bunny. We are the essence of God that looks like a human.

What does it say about your god that every murderer, rapist, torturer, paedophile, and despot that has ever disgraced our species was made in his image?
