And predictably the Right is trying to make the fact the perp was Trans an issue. Well, the perp was also White and an American. So there have been far more of those than Trans shooters but the right only wants to focus on the demographics they can politicize. Germany and Sweden where are all the mass shooters?

I've seen statements that the "average" mass shooter could have bought a gun the day before and the day after the killing spree without any problems. That's a problem.

Another thing they're trying to blame is Trans Advocacy Groups by  insisting they are promoting terrorism by telling them to be prepared if things go south and that the right wing hates them and wants them gone. Even though there is no evidence the shooter even subscribed to any of that.

According to the right, this is pro-terrorism 

Pointing out that it's a tragedy the perp died  is terrorism 

Pointing out that the perp like most shooters felt the need to lash out for whatever reason is terrorism 

Pointing out hateful rhetoric and hateful laws can have negative effects on people's mental health  is terrorism 

Pointing out the hardships of trans people, especially in terms of mental health is terrorism 

Pointing out right-wing hate is terrorism 

Asking that Pro Nouns be used is terrorism

Lastly, the right is trying to compare this to the Colorado Shooting. This is hilarious because still think that because the shooter was non-binary it means he isn't rightwing and wasn't influenced by right-wing rhetoric.

They say the guns are the common denominator.
