RE: Noteworthy News
Perhaps Fox New's insurance company told them that Tucker is going to cost them a billion in extra costs.

My day is much happier, hearing this news.

Clap I hope he never finds work again. Probably make a good preacher, though, for certain values of "good".

‘I wanted my ears pierced’: Quartet of Arkansas cops caught on video arresting man for piercing teenage son’s ear (msn.com)

Man arrested for piercing his son's ears.  Body mod without a license or some such shit.

When I was a young teen the piercing guns were a very new thing.  I had wanted my ears pierced but the only way to have it done was a home piercing.  My mom said I was not having one of my friends pierce my ears with a sewing needle.

So she sent me to my aunt who was a nurse.  Aunt had me sit on a stool at the bar in her kitchen, had me hold my earlobes between two ice cubes and proceeded to pierce my ears with a sewing needle.  Go figure how that was better.

I pierced them a second time myself with a sewing needle, ice cubes, and a mirror propped up my kitchen table while buzzing on pain killers after having my wisdom teeth out.  I figured I was already in pain so why not.

Drag queens, holes in ear lobes, incorrect bathroom usage...let's get completely stupid about laws and enforcement. smh  It's not like this man pierced the kid's by force and against the kid's wishes.

You know, if I never saw that stupafuck's face again, I'd be OK with that.

My day is much happier, hearing this news.

Yesterday AOC was on MSNBC calling for Tucker to be banned. Probably this didn't influence Fox's decision, but I'm not sure I like it when popular "liberal" politicians are calling for media censorship.

Tucker was often horrible, but he was the only one on corporate media who called for Julian Assange to be freed, who said that war with China would be stupid, and several other true things. Now even these little bits of truth will disappear from TV, as the rest of Fox is all in on fake news, and the other corporate outlets (e.g. MSNBC) are all in on slightly different fake news.

It's a case of being careful what you wish for -- whoever replaces him will be worse.

While most Fox News personalities, other news companies, and Trump officials were pushing for war with Iran, Carlson was against it. Trump has said that it was watching Carlson's show which made him decide not to start a new war.

I understand that many people here are pro-war, but I think war is bad, and I applaud anyone who helps prevent one.

No major media outlet will ever invite Jimmy Dore, Russell Brand, or Glenn Greenwald ever again. From now on it's military/industrial complex propaganda all day all the time.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RoLyr7Kn42k

This is most likely the presentation that got him fired:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t9eN19qkZRk

He discusses:

~ Media lied about the Covid vaccines, for their own profit, and the science showing the dangers of the vaccines since then has not been widely reported.

~ Victoria Nuland confessed that the US is running secret bio-labs in Ukraine -- something which was denied before.

~ The Biden administration has confessed that there is "sensitive nuclear technology" belonging to the US in Ukraine, currently captured by Russia.

~ It's clear that the Ukraine war has no benefits for the US (other than weapons manufacturers).

These points go so far against the approved propaganda line that they can't be tolerated.
