It's actually only a pitch that the religious believe in. They're the ones, who think they can do fucked up shit...and then ask some "jesus" for forgiveness.

Filth.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

Christianity is an impossible choice because it advocates for a logical impossiblity : God is three entities and one entity at the same time.

Please...... a magical being can do magical things. That's not really a problem. The problem, for you, is that the list is different between you and christians.

Your religion believes in all kinds of absurdities so you are in no position to criticise NX

A bunch of convention nerds arguing about who wrote the best fanfic. No wonder they keep fucking children, couldn't get laid any other way.

Not rational, as it's totally unnecessary.
NX, I have never met a Marxist atheist. I have no clue why you would introduce that ridiculous irrelevant notion.
Obviously you were not born into the faith, and live in total isolation. A single selfish man.

I am comfortably as a few here know, (arewetheryet, my dear friend for one) part of a very successful founding Catholic family in California. Some were liberal, some were very conservative. They were bankers. My grandfather was a diplomat in Rome, after he retired. We have more many more resources than you will ever see. It's irrelevant, as "service" is drilled into us from birth. My aunt was one of the "nuns on the bus" and the President of one of the prominent Catholic colleges in Los Angeles, and member of a very liberal order of nuns. She was nationally known. They were and are allowed to pursue whatever they feel they should. They are a wealthy order, and as such are safe from pedophile priests and bully bishops who want to control them. Most of them are committed, WITHOUT proselytizing, to teaching reading to immigrants and helping young women get hired into basic skills, so they then, can advance in education in the chosen fields. Why all this ? YOUR BIASED prejudiced view of atheists is hateful, and you are no Christian. I have NEVER met a Marxist atheist. It's nothing but your ignorant bias. There are more atheists and various non-believers who serve meals to the homeless here, including the Loaves and Fishes programs' than Christians. I jettisoned Catholicism in 3rd grade. I saw how uncharitable the clergy was in Rome, and was appalled.
How many homeless people have you assisted in the last week ?

There is no reason to make ANY wager, Pascal or otherwise, asshole, as you have been schooled in the last few days.
YOUR CHURCH acknowledges that humans MUST follow their conscience, and doing that they are saved. It's in the Roman Catholic Catechism.
It's not that difficult. But we all see you delight in demanding that your little exclusive club is the only way to go, and you take GREAT DELIGHT in
claiming membership in your exclusive club is required, (probably because at some level you doubt it). Havre you considered getting help for your neurosis ?
Catholic fundies are the worst. Thankfully anyone can find what is REALLY Catholic dogma, and dismiss idiots such as you.
Almost no one any more talks about Aquinas, except very conservative poseurs. No one. He is not the subject of theological programs any more.

Have a nice day.
Ta ta.

Quote:Firstly, the purpose of the NPW is not to show that Christianity is True. There are independent arguments for that, Cosmology, Fine Tuning, the Moral Argument, the Historical Evidence for Christ's Crucifixion, Messianic Prophecies like Isaiah 53, then that for Christ's Resurrection, Internal Experience etc.

All totally debunked. NX is a total beginner, He's still enthralled by the beginner stuff. The world has moved on.
Every religion is true one way or another. It is true when understood metaphorically. But when it gets stuck in its own metaphors, interpreting them as facts, then you are in trouble. - Joseph Campbell  Popcorn
